Learning objectives
- Understand the purpose of PRF Academy.
- Recognise the relationship between learning, leadership and service.
- Identify ways participants can contribute.
Every leader begins as a learner
PRF Academy exists to help supporters, members, volunteers and future leaders develop a shared understanding of the movement's published principles. It is not limited to people with formal education. Experience, integrity, community knowledge, professional qualifications and willingness to learn all matter.
Different ways to contribute
Some participants will support communication and digital outreach. Others may organise meetings, translate materials, facilitate discussions, recruit volunteers or travel to communities where internet access is limited. The Academy should recognise both online and offline service.
Reflection activity
Write down two skills or experiences you already have and one area you want to learn. Then identify one practical way you can serve your community.
Key takeaway
The Academy connects knowledge with responsibility. Learning is not only for personal advancement; it is preparation for service.
